you lace up.
Running with your dog, as a team. Your dog wears a running harness connected to your belt by a bungee line. It’s a way to explore trails together, with your dog out in front.
No. The club welcomes all abilities, including people who are completely new to running. Tell us where you’re starting from and we’ll help you take the next step.
We understand reactive dogs and the importance of giving them space. Every dog is different, so speak to us before your first session. We can talk through what you and your dog need.
No need to buy a whole setup before you’ve tried it. You can try canicross equipment at an introduction session, with guidance on a suitable harness and fit. Bring running trainers and ask us what you’ll need for your session.
Dogs can learn that a running harness and canicross cues mean something different from their everyday walks. We’ll introduce you to the equipment and cues that help make that distinction.
Lots of breeds enjoy canicross, but age, health and individual needs matter. Get in touch about your dog before starting. If you have concerns about their health or readiness to run, ask your vet.
Our club is run by volunteers who love getting outdoors with their dogs — and helping you do the same.
